Processing purposes
Seaside Beads collects and processes customers’ personal data for customer and order management purposes (including customer administration, tracking orders/deliveries, invoicing, solvency monitoring, profiling and sending marketing and personalised advertising).
Legal basis (bases) for the processing
Personal data is processed based on Article 6.1. of the General Data Protection Act, more specifically:

- 6.1.(b) required for the implementation of an agreement
- 6.1.(c) required to satisfy a legal obligation
- 6.1.(f) required for the protection of our legitimate interest in entrepreneurship
Insofar as the processing of personal data takes place based on Article 6.1. a) (your consent), you always have the right to withdraw your consent.
Transfer to third parties
Seaside Beads only provides the data to third parties that they need for their work. They are only allowed to use that information to fulfil the purchase agreement between you and us and they are not entitled to use the data for other purposes, unless you have explicitly agreed to it.
To process your order and to deliver your purchases, we may forward relevant personal details to the carriers, warehouses, banks and credit card service providers that we use.
In the event of fraud prevention, not only can we give your information to the banks and credit card service providers, but also to the official authorities. Any time we disclose information for fraud prevention, it will remain secure.
Retention period
Personal data processed for customer management will be stored for the time necessary to satisfy legal requirements (in terms of bookkeeping, among others).
Seaside Beads will process your credit card information but does not store it.
Right to inspection, improvement, deletion, limitation, objection and transferability of personal data
You are at all times entitled to inspect your personal data and can correct it or have it corrected if it is incorrect or incomplete, have it removed, restrict its processing and object to the processing of personal data involving them based on Article 6.1 (e) or (f), including profiling based on these provisions.
You have the right to obtain a copy of your personal data that are processed by us in a structured, standard and machine-readable format. You also have the right to arrange for the data to be transferred to other data controllers.

Direct marketing

Complaints

Invalidation – non-relinquishment
If any provision of these Terms and Conditions is declared invalid, illegal or void, it shall in no way affect the validity, legality and applicability of the other provisions.
Applicable law – jurisdiction
Unless the law or Seaside Beads stipulates otherwise, only the courts of the district of Seaside Beads have jurisdiction in the case of any disputes.
Belgian law is applicable.

In case of differences in interpretation between the English and Dutch version, the original Dutch version shall prevail.
